And they've gone full on pandering.
I hope they get cancelled after this season for this crap.

Well to be fair, there's only so many stories you can tell about the "magic of friendship." It's not a shallow well in terms of story telling, but it's not a deep well either.

To be fair, they're being lazy. They've officially given up and just gone "Let's steal fan ideas and act like we're giving them a gift." What's next? They gonna bring the retarded comics into the show? This is a complete shark jump.

The only thing I disagree with from the EqD article is canonizing Dr. Whooves. I'm sorry, but I really really wish Whovians hadn't invaded the brony fandom. Esp. since I think Doctor Who is an overrated, mediocre at best British fantasy TV show. It doesn't even deserve the genre of Sci-Fi. Everything else I'm okay with.

So much pain and wrongness in this thread.... I'm fairly sure I saw a HUB financial documents that said they're clear for 3 more seasons and 2 movies. And Doctor Who is a good show.

I'm curious to see what they do with fanon, though I've never seen Doctor Who. I'm looking forward to it.

Instead of a talking dog, you get an alien with two hearts and every actor has their own take on the character. Which sounds fine in theory (okay maybe not that fine), but there's no consistency.

I'm curious to see what they do with fanon, though I've never seen Doctor Who. I'm looking forward to it. Doctor Who involves an ancient time traveling alien being that has taken a great liking to earth. When he gets too old or too injured, his body can regenerate itself completely, turning him into essentially a new person. It's a frankly clever way to keep a show going for as long as this one has. The writing is fast paced and usually silly, but it's also a lot of fun if you can get into it.
