Note: I was heavily considering playing a different character of mine for this RP, but the group seems pretty unicorn-heavy already, and her special talent may be too similar to Atom's character's. Oh well.
Name: Silver Vein

Species: Earth Pony
Job: Subsurface Miner
Skills: Mining (special talent). Adept with explosives and rock climbing. Incredibly strong. Decent knowledge of Equestrian history.
Personality: Stubborn, awkward, and recklessly impulsive, Silver considers herself a mare of results. While typically calm and good at heart, she has a no-nonsense attitude and a short fuse, but remains dutiful and dependable without fail. She has few strong social connections, and that's exactly how she likes it. Despite her willingness to do nearly anything for those she loves, she is not in tune with her feelings or those of others, and has great difficulty expressing affection through words rather than actions.
Bio: Born in Baltimare to a once-wealthy family of metalworkers, Silver spent most of her fillyhood raised by caretakers, and was eventually moved to Winter Haven for her own sake along with her brother, Copper Vein. It was there that she discovered her special talent in a mine collapse - finding rare materials hidden in the hard earth. She currently lives in a small home on the edge of town, trying to keep her business afloat and live in peace.
Appearances (pics requested): Silver is an earth pony with a silvery-white coat that seems to be permanently stained with faded, blackish smudges. She has a long, ruby-red mane, which she doesn't keep perfectly brushed, to say the least. Her eyes are a deep purple, matching the jewel in her cutie mark. She has a tall, hard, fairly muscular frame. Her only commonly worn accessory is an old bandana, the purpose of which is to keep dust and dirt from entering her lungs on the job.
