So while we're wrapping up the current story arc, who has a good story idea and who wants to don the DM hat next?

Not I, Little Red Hen. We could go a little while with less structure, I suppose, or dig out and polish one of the old ideas from when we brainstormed earlier. Then there's always the ol' "weekly Huge Town Festival" standby. Someone could be throwing some kind of party of their own, but I admit most of our group still doesn't have much reason to freely associate with each other without purpose. Anyway, I don't have much beyond a handful more of generic plotlines, and I'm not sure I'm cut out to "DM".

I had a passing thought. It involves the group getting sucked into a cursed book Page finds in a storage space, and them having to fight through all the familiar adventure story cliches.

inb4 the book is a steamy, raunchy, homoerotic novel and everyone is just mortified.

I think we can work with this. Maybe it can even be a book he finds here in the mansion. Even if we have a time skip between then and now, it'll lend a little continuity between the two arcs.

' ...don'ttouchme don'ttouchme DON'TTOUCHME DON'TTOUCHME!' 'IT'S IN MY MANE IT'S IN MY MANE IT'S IN MY MANE! 'I NEED AN ADULT!'" I think we can work with this. In all seriousness, this idea will work. Clay is basically Daring Do, so he would probably be the most capable at the onset. Though everyone would have their own talents(such as being the only one who can fly).

Also, this still leaves the question of who is willing to DM it.

Also, this still leaves the question of who is willing to DM it. Well, since it was Ameri idea, why not let him DM it?

I've got an idea for that book, by the way. Clay was out looking for firewood - that's how he ended up in this mansion in the first place. Suppose while he's grabbing a couple of logs from one of the rooms, he notices what looks like an old dime novel half-buried in ash in the fireplace next to it - looking filthy and a little worn, but completely unburned. Books that don't burn are usually bad news, after all...
