"You wouldn't care for a free sample, would you? I'm offering 20% off on your next mixed drink if you try one." "Thanks," he said with a wave of his hoof, "but I never drink during business hours. Maybe later though." "Broken ice machine huh?" He opened his appointment book. "Let me find a place in my schedule for..." Flux stopped and looked into the middle distance for a moment. "Did you say bar and law office? Let me guess," he grinned. "You passed the bar, but liked it so much you decided to take it with you?" Willow chuckled. "Actually, it all started when I served my parents lemonade during their divorce proceeding. They liked what I suggested for partition too, and that's when I got my cutie mark. Then I alternated between apprenticing under lawyers and working in my mother's restaurant. I did a little bit of bartending work while in law school, but it's only been a couple of months since I've actually had my own liquor license--most of the last twelve years of my life have been as counsel for Hoofmare Construction in Vanhoofer." She was a little disappointed that Flux wouldn't take up her offer, but nodded. "So when do you have time to come and look at it?"

You see, this gentlepony over here," he motioned at Steel, "has hired me for something that's... sort of time sensitive. Until that's done, I'm covered up." He turned to Steel. "What exactly are you going to need? Maybe I can give Miss Burr here a better estimate if I knew that."

Some support bracings, some copper cable, tungsten-magnesium alloy and cold-riveted selenium for the antennas if you have any. And roof access, of course. I can supply the actual tranceivers and telemetry trackers myself."

"Maybe it would be better if I took a look at your ice machine while the boys in the back help my friend Steel here. The general fabrication shouldn't need my supervision. Is that alright with you Steel?"

Chiselle was walking down the streets of Winter Haven when she passed by Coin's shop. 'You know, I haven't seen her in awhile, maybe I should go say hi.' Making sure the box is carefully resting on her back, Chiselle cheerfully walked into the shop, the little bell over the door rung as she walked by the doorway. "Heya Boss, how are you?"

Steel blinked. "The cold-riveted selenium is completely optional, and of course I'll pay for all of the materials. But yes, I can handle the fabrication myself. Shouldn't take more than an hour."

"Alright then. If you go through that door over there, my partner Scrap Iron will help you out. In the meantime," he turned to Willow. "Let's go take a look at your ice machine."

Willow looked at more fascination with this eccentric pony. Hoofmare Construction was a relatively high-tech firm, and yet she never heard anything about "cold-riveted selenium." She was curious about what he was doing and how, but the ice machine took priority. She turned to Flux, nodded, and smiled. "Alright, come along," she said, and led him out the door to the house on Oak and Primrose. She led him inside and brought him behind the counter and in front of the machine. She lifted the cover off the top to reveal the pool of water inside with only a few small chunks of ice remaining. "Take a look. When I tried to get ice by pressing the button in the front at first the machine just whirred. I pressed it again and still just whirred, and then when I hit it harder a stream of water splashed out. I've only had this machine since I moved here. If you think it's defective let me know."

"I'm doing pretty well, got some very nice hoof-crafted chisel in the mail today, how are you?"

"I've only had this machine since I moved here. If you think it's defective let me know." "Well let's take a look here. Did you get this machine used?" Setting his hooves, he slid the ice machine out from under the bar, and removed the back panel. "Well here's the first problem I'm seeing. When was the last time you wiped down the condenser?"

It's been a bit more interesting than normal today. Flux stopped by, demons might invade the town, and Page described you as a mildly decent friend. How has your day been?"

Without hesitation Chiselle looked into Coin's eyes, she then put her hoof on the forehead, felt her cheeks and finally she held one of Coin's hoof while seemingly counting to herself. "Okay, pupils are normal, forehead feels normal and you apparently have a normal heart rate. So you're sober and you're not running a fever. I just wanted to make sure since you were talking about demons and Page actually paying me a nice compliment."
