So now that we've established the town (Winter Haven), we should talk about story arcs next.
Quan and I talked about this for a bit today and we both agree that at the beginning, the RP should be free-flowing, that way we can let everyone introduce their character in their own way and if a story comes out of it, great! However, I'm a planner and I do like to create some story arcs for us to do. Of course this doesn't mean that I'm the only one allowed to do story arcs, you all are welcomed to bring in your own ideas for us to discuss.
Anyways, this is one of my proposed story arc.
It's a little rough around the edges, but I think it's a good start. It's winter time, after Hearts Warming Eve and everypony is out gathering supplies for the incoming snow storm that's supposed to hit the mountain region overnight. However, the weather ponies got things mixed up in Cloudsdale and now our characters (one by one or all at once) find themselves trapped in a shelter on the outskirt of town while the blizzard rages outside.

Sounds like a nice place to start. Any ideas on what kind of shelter? How would we get trapped one by one in a blizzard?

What would bring these guys together? I mean they don't have to get trapped one by one. It could be a few groups at a time.

Maybe they're in the forest for some reason, and one knows about an old cabin nearby, so they run there for shelter when they notice the wind picking up early.

The woods are a good place to hide from an angry wife chasing down the pony she caught with her hubby. I imagine that's how Page would wind up there.

I could have Chiselle renting the cabin so that she could have peace and quiet to work on a project, and the constant interruption could annoy her.

Guys it's a mountain with trees on it. What one of those doesn't have an abandoned sawmill?

Also, gods bless you Ameri, you make me laugh every time Page gets into shenanigans.

Should anypony in our group own the place, or should it just be there, like the owners use it for vacation and didn't come this year, or maybe it's that one house in every neighborhood that all the foals are convinced is haunted?

Oooo I actually like the haunted house thing. I vote for that. It doesn't need to actually be haunted, just abandoned or rarely used, but with all the magic around, an actual haunting isn't out of the question. We should probably vote.
